A pontoon boat allows for more socializing and cruising, but you can also go fishing out on these boats, too. They make it easy to stop the boat in a swimming area and let your guests off to cool off in the water before getting back on the boat.

In most cases, you’ll find the fishing boat to be more affordable than the pontoon boat. Depending on your budget, you may have to settle for a fishing boat right now and upgrade later. The pontoon boat is larger, so it comes with a larger price tag.
